Kurumkan is the administrative center of the Kurumkansky district, one of the remote areas of Buryatia. Here is a harsh climate, but very hospitable people.
The purpose of this trail is to open access to the headwaters of the Left Upper Kurumkan River. There are 8 lakes and a beautiful peak of 2482 m.
At the beginning of the trail, there is a small hydroelectric station. As a result of the project, 1,200 meters of trails were cut in cedar elfin. Next year the work will continue.
35 volunteers took part in the project.
The best volunteers on the project were Marina Kladova and Baldanov Bato. They are presented for the award by Letters of Thanks of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Buryatia.
